By now, assuming you have a pulse, you’ve probably heard about the Miley Cyrus bong pictures and Miley Cyrus smoking pot video.  And while this may be shocking to some, considering that Miley Cyrus is a pre-teen idol, is it really that big a deal?  Whether Miley Cyrus’ bong contained salvia (a legal alternative to marijuana) or not, the pop singer is 18 years old and has made it clear she is ready to bust out (see the “Who Owns My Heart” video right here for evidence) of the Disney mold.

And of course, celebrities are people too, and people smoke pot.  Shocked?  Didn’t think so.  And even celebrities who smoke pot don’t seem to be held back by hitting the bong; consider Bloginity’s list of blazing celebrities who still get down to business, despite recent cannabis controversies. 1. Lil Wayne: Lil Wayne has never been shy about getting high, with songs like “I Feel Like Dying.”  And many would argue that Lil Wayne’s marijuana habit – like his recent prison stint for gun possession – merely add to his mystique and attract fans

2. Michael Phelps: Remember this dude?  The Olympian with whom American fell in love after he torched the pool at Beijing?  Phelps was criticized by many after pictures of his Olympian bong rips hit the internet, but you can still see him smiling and sponsored to this day.

3. Dr. Dre:  If Dr. Dre had an actually MD, it would stand for Marijuana Destroyer, because he’s been known to toke it to the next level.  In fact, if you think Dr. Dre has gotten sober in his advanced age, check out his new video for “Kush”; Bloginity has the premiere right here.

4. Willie Nelson: Nelson’s laid back attitude and old age (77 years) didn’t stop police officers from arresting the music legend for marijuana possession at the end of last month (read about it here).  Of course, there’s no mystery that he smokes, as he’s admitted it in interviews and you can find infinitely more Willie Nelson smoking pot pictures than Miley Cyrus smoking pot pictures with a simple search.

5. Wiz Khalifa: Consider this a double-whammy; Wiz Khalifa – who has never kept smoking a secret – was arrested recently after a show at East Carolina University, which is known around the state, and probably beyond, as a hard-partying campus  (Bloginity has video of the arrest right here).  Despite this arrest, though, Khalifa was featured on MTV‘s top 25 songs of 2010 list (see the whole list right here).
